INVENTOR-NET PARTNERS WITH LOCAL SOLICITORS FIRM
Added: (Wed Jun 27 2007)
Sheffield and South Yorkshire inventors incubation service, Inventor-Net, continues to grow and expand its offering to inventors. It now announces that it has forged an alliance with Rotherham-based solicitors firm, Oxley & Coward, to support inventors on all legal matters.
Inventor-Net - created and supported by Atkinson & Company, in partnership with Fixed Fee IP, continues to go from strength to strength with around 30 of the regions inventors attending the recent Inventor-Net By Invitation event at President Park, Sheffield.
Oxley & Coward will be represented at Inventor-Net events by associate solicitor for Oxley & Coward, Rebecca Stopford.
Ralph Atkinson, director of Atkinson & Company, said: Rebecca has shown she has a real feel for what the Inventor-Net model is all about and we are delighted to welcome her to the Inventor-Net team. Both Rebecca and Oxley & Coward have a great deal of valuable experience in handling the legal aspects relating to inventions and business start-ups, and this partnership will add significantly to the Inventor-Net offering.
We now have partnership arrangements in place with product designers and developers, patent attorneys, lawyers, general business advisers, and sales, marketing and PR professionals. The long-term plan is to provide everything under one roof that the inventor needs to give their idea the best possible chance of success, and to ultimately reach commercial fruition.
We are always interested in talking to like-minded organisations with different skills and experience that can fit in to the Inventor-Net model and improve the offer to inventors still further.
Rebecca Stopford said: I was taken by the Inventor-Net approach, which is one of the few private sector initiatives that brings together experienced professionals offering a genuine support network to inventors. The primary motivation is to see the best ideas succeed, rather than simply earn a quick buck out of the vulnerable start-up, which is really refreshing.
The initial assessment and participation in the first Inventor-Net consultation is free of charge. There are no hidden costs or expenses. Once an invention is approved as having market potential, the inventor is offered a one years consultancy service on a fixed fee basis (modules include Sales, Patent and Product Development and can be paid for in instalments). For a whole year an inventor then has full access to Inventor-Nets professional consultancy service.
Anyone with an idea or invention is welcome to join the Inventor-Net Confidential in Sheffield. To book a place for a free consultation, call Eileen Ellis on 0870 850 0043. The next Inventor-Net Confidential events will take place in Sheffield on the following dates:
